Joburg Fringe 2012 Open Call

We invite you to submit artworks for the fifth Joburg Fringe.

The 2012 Joburg Fringe is being held from 5 to 9 September 2012 in Braamfontein

Johannesburg, in association with Goethe Institut South Africa.

How to submit work

Please email up to 10 images of each artist’s work and a short CV for each artist to

joburgfringe@gmail.com by 15 July 2012.

Jury

We have invited the following people to be on the jury for 2012:

♦ Anthea Buys

♦ Alexandra Dodd

♦ Joseph Gaylard

♦ Khwezi Gule

♦ David Koloane

Costs

♦ It is free to submit artworks for the jury to consider.

♦ If the jury accepts your work, each Fringe space costs R2 500. This includes about 16

square metres of exhibition space, lighting, security, opening party invitations, flyers, a

floor layout plan and an online catalogue (maybe also hard copy).

♦ Many thanks to the Goethe Institut for helping to keep the Fringe affordable for artists.
