here some basics re. the technicalities: they will be updated as we have more details.
- the Joburg Fringe space at the Joburg Art Fair is sponsored by the Goethe-Institut and the Joburg Art Fair. It will be curated by an independent curator who will choose works from all successful submissions. So you all stand a chance, but we have no influence over who gets selected. We all have to Wait and See!
- spaces will be approx. 3,5 running meters wall space. could be more, could be less. Let us know if you need floor space for 3d objects
- the Joburg Fringe 2012 will take place in 4 locations downtown Braamfontein (not in last year's garage)
- there will be neon overhead lighting (no spots)
- setting up will begin on Tuesday morning, 4 Sept, if you need more time please let us know to make arrangements
- opening party will begin at 6:00pm on the 5 Sept
- we will let you know of a delivery address if your work is going to be delivered only on 3,4 or 5 September: not before! (no storage before)
- we recommend the hotels Lamunu and Metro, both in Braamfontein, ask for Joburg Fringe specials!
- bring a chair, bring a table for cv/flyers/catalogues/visitors address book/wine/peanuts/knitting
- we will be sending you an invoice with banking details for transfer of R2500 - deadline for payment Friday 17th August
